Keep your boards clean by archiving completed work. Delete items only when you are sure you will not need them again.

Archiving
Archive items to keep your board clean while preserving data.
- Archive cards - Remove completed cards from view while keeping all data intact
- Archive columns - Archive entire columns along with all their cards
- View archived items - Access the archive from the board menu to see all archived content
- Restore from archive - Bring archived cards or columns back to the board anytime
Deleting
Permanently remove items you no longer need.

Warning
Deleted items cannot be recovered. Always consider archiving first if there is any chance you might need the data later.

Delete cards
Permanently remove cards that are no longer needed.

Delete boards
Remove entire boards and all their contents.

Confirm deletion
You will be asked to confirm before permanent deletion.

When to Archive vs Delete
Archive completed work, old projects, or anything you might reference later. Only delete spam, test cards, or duplicate items that have no value. When in doubt, archive.

Tip
Set up automation to automatically archive cards that have been in the "Done" column for a certain period of time.
