Cards are the building blocks of your boards. Each card represents a task, idea, or item that needs to be tracked through your workflow.

Card Features
Every card in Gryphin comes packed with features to help you capture all the information you need about a task.
- Title and description - Add a clear title and detailed description to explain the task
- Assignees - Assign team members so everyone knows who is responsible
- Labels - Add colorful labels to categorize and filter cards easily
- Due dates - Set deadlines to keep your team on track
- Checklists - Break down tasks into smaller actionable items
- Attachments - Add files, images, or links to provide context
- Comments - Collaborate with your team directly on the card
Quick Actions
Gryphin provides several quick ways to work with cards efficiently:

Quick add
Press "N" to quickly add a new card to any column.

Edit inline
Click on a card title to edit it directly on the board.

Open card modal
Click anywhere else on the card to open the full card detail view.

Drag to reorder
Drag cards up or down to change their priority within a column.
Editing Cards
To edit a card, simply click on it to open the card detail view. From there you can:
Card Detail View
The card detail view gives you access to all card features in one place. You can edit the title and description, manage assignees, add labels, set due dates, create checklists, upload attachments, and view the activity log.

Tip
Use keyboard shortcuts to work faster. Press E to edit the card description, L to open the labels menu, and D to set a due date.
Card Templates
For tasks you create repeatedly, card templates save time by pre-filling information.
Creating Templates
To create a template, open any card and click the menu icon (three dots) in the top right. Select "Make Template" and your card will be saved as a reusable template. You can then create new cards from this template with all the details pre-filled.

Note
Templates are great for recurring tasks like weekly reports, sprint planning, or client onboarding checklists.
