What You Can Drag

Gryphin's drag and drop interface makes it easy to organize your work visually.

  • Drag cards between columns - Click and hold a card, then drag it to a different column to update its status
  • Reorder cards - Drag cards up or down within a column to change their priority
  • Reorder columns - Drag columns left or right to rearrange your workflow stages
  • Multi-select drag - Hold Ctrl/Cmd and click multiple cards, then drag them all at once

Visual Indicators

Visual cues help you understand where items will be placed when you release them:

1

Blue line

Shows where the card will be inserted when you release.

2

Highlighted column

Indicates the target column when dragging between columns.

3

Invalid drop zone

The cursor changes to indicate when a drop isn't allowed.

Touch Devices

Drag and drop works great on tablets and touch-enabled devices too.

Touch Gestures

Long-press on a card to start dragging. The board will automatically scroll when you drag near the edges of the screen. Release your finger to drop the card in its new position.
💡
Tip
On touch devices, you can also use two fingers to scroll the board while viewing, without accidentally moving cards.

Keyboard Navigation

Prefer the keyboard? You can move cards without using a mouse:

Keyboard Shortcuts

  • Tab - Move focus between cards
  • Space/Enter - Pick up the focused card
  • Arrow keys - Move the card in any direction
  • Space/Enter - Drop the card in its new position
  • Escape - Cancel the move

Note
Keyboard navigation is especially useful for accessibility and for users who prefer not to use a mouse.
